Questionnare Conclusions

As you can see 100% of people that I aksed were male.

Again 100% of the people that answerd my questionnaire were between the age of 16-20. I also asked the question 'Do you like films?' and again 100% of the applicants answerd yes.
The next question i asked had a mixed response however the biggest response was Every Month. Another question was 'Looking at the poster would you go and watch the film? why? there were mixed responses to this but most people said yes and the reason for it was the cast behind it, the biggest reason people said no was because it didnt look funny enough. Out of the 10 people I asked 7 people have not seen the film and 3 have seen the film which again suggests that maybe it wasn't funny enough for them to go and spend money to see it.
For the next question there were a range of answers the accplicants could have chosen from comedy to animated even western and they were aloud to pick as many genres as they wanted if they thought the film was that type of genre. Only 2 genres were picked and as you can see from the graph people thought that it was a comedy as the title probably gave it away however people also thought it was a romance comedy which shows that the poster is misleading to half the people that saw it. I also asked why they thought it was the genre they picked, the reason people picked the comedy genre is because they know the actor Adam Sandler and they know that comedy is the genre of film he is normally in, also the title gave it away as its says funny people which again the word funny gives it away. On the other hand people thought it was a romance comedy as Leslie Mann is clinging to Adam Sandler's arm which suggests romance is in the film, however as all of the actors are normally in comedy films everyone thought it was a comedy.

The last question that I asked was would you watch the film because your favourite actors/actresses/directors/film company are in/made the film. 90% of people answered yes however one person said no, this shows even though the poster is misleading people will still go and watch a film because their favourite actors etc are in it.

Internet (Facebook) Results
I also used another media platform to obtain audience responses. As you can see from the pictures i got 5 responses and the answers that were given are basically the same as the 10 above. I have print screened and croped the pictures in photoshop to show this.
